Winter Skincare Products

Has winter dried your skin out? Is your make up not blending? Same and I absolutely hate when my skin is dry. So I bought tons of products to try to revive my skin. These are the ones I swear by:

  • Personal Microderm

I actually came across my PMD Beauty device on a Facebook ad and did more research because my skin was so dry at that point that I was willing to try anything. I use mine once a week and it has made my skin so soft, clear, and smooth. The nice thing is that you can use it on your entire body, not just your face!

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other skin-related concerns and conditions.

I got the Classic Personal Microderm because I had no idea where to start. The Classic PMD comes with the first 4 levels of disks. It is really important to start at the lowest disk level, use each disk at least two times, and then gradually move up to the next level of disk. If you skip right to level 3, it could really damage your skin. I also recommend getting the Daily Cell Regeneration System Starter Kit because it is half off when you buy a PMD. After using the PMD it is recommended to use their Collagen Mask. I have used the mask as well as other collagen masks – either work just fine!

  • Volition Winter Survival Kit

These products are by far the most gentle, natural, hydrating products I have ever bought. The kit includes: Jetset and Protect Leave-On Mask, Turmeric Brightening Polish, Snow Mushroom Water Serum, and Oceanene Youth-Boost Gel.

I like to use these products during my nightly skincare routine just so they have longer to absorb. They come in small sizes but a little goes a long way. Volition also sells each of these products individually in larger sizes.

  • Skin Script RX Dry Skin Kit

I was offered these products by my amazing lash artist at Beauty Brows and Lashes here in Alaska. These products have totally replaced my previous skincare routine. The nice thing about these products is that each kit comes with a suggested morning and nightly routine for best results.

The kit comes with full size products. Skin Script has kits for all types of skin (oily, combination, etc.) Each item is also sold separately on their website.

Skin Script RX products are so natural and gentle. I absolutely love these products and saw a difference in my skin within a week. Sticking to the morning/nightly routines has completely cleared up break outs and made my skin more hydrated but not oily. If you have trouble with dry spots or make up blending then you should definitely get this kit.

  • Mario Badescu Facial Spray

I love any Mario Badescu product because they all seem to make my skin glow. You can find these products on their website, Ulta, Target, but I got mine from Amazon because I am a hermit who doesn’t like to leave the house and they are also super cheap!

You can use these sprays whenever and however you want to. My typical routine is the Cucumber and Green Tea in the morning before I apply moisturizer, the Chamomile and Lavender at night before I apply moisturizer, and the Herbs and Rosewater before I apply make up and after to set my make up.

  • Facial Cleansing Spin Brush Set

I strongly believe that you should not use your hands to wash your face because it just transfers dirt onto your face. I found this amazing brush set on Amazon and it works wonders!

  1. I am so happy to read this. This is the type of manual that needs to be given and not the accidental misinformation that’s at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.
